He is the founding chair of the Earth System Governance Project and Editor-in-Chief of Earth System Governance. Rakhyun E. Kim is Assistant Professor of Global Environmental Governance at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
