Excerpt from Arch ologia Cambrensis: An Alphabetical Index to the First Four Series, 1846-1884; With an Introduction and Lists of Articles and Illustrations A Report of the Proceedings of the whole year was also ordered to be submitted to the annual meeting. It was also decided to commence a New Series of the journal, and to make an agreement with Mr. Mason of Tenby to publish it'as sole proprietor, the Association purchasing copies for its subscribing members and making grants for suitable illustrations. But owing to the publication by Mr. Mason of another journal of similar character, the Cambrian Journal, and a misunderstand ing as to certain articles appearing therein, this arrangement was cancelled; and in 1855, a Third Series was begun, with Mr. Russell Smith as publisher, and Mr. Mason as printer, to the Association.
