He grew up playing video games from the Sega Mega Drive era, and fondly remembers attending LAN parties with friends during the days when one of the fastest internet connections in Australia was the ""glorious"" 256K ADSL. His favourite movie series since childhood has always been Alien, but in high school he discovered a love for Japanese anime. This obsession continued into his university years, where he wrote and posted Naruto fanfiction in his spare time.
