Adnan Abubakr is working as Professor of Limnology and Head in the Division of Aquatic Environmental Management, Faculty of Fisheries, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir, SKUAST-K. He has earned M.Sc. degree & Ph.D. degree in Limnology from Department of Limnology, Barkatullah University Bhopal, and have specialized in Water and Wastewater examination, analytical and bacteriological techniques related to water, freshwater and brackish water. He has specialization in designing artificial wetland systems for treatment of wastewaters. Besides this he is involved in teaching, research and extension experience of more than 15 years in the field of aquatic ecology. He has been instrumental in Instituting M.F.Sc & Ph.D Degree programmes in Aquatic Environment Management (AEM) in the Division of AEM, He has have more than 60 research publication in peer reviewed journals and have completed 02 externally funded and 03 university funded research projects. He has guided more than 20 students for their Masters and Ph.D degrees. Monisa M. Malik, is presently working as Assistant Professor Cum Junior Scientist in the Division of Aquatic Environmental Management at Faculty of Fisheries, Rangil, Ganderbal, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology- Kashmir. An Undergraduate with Bachelors in Fisheries Science from University of Dr. B.S.K.K.V, Dapoli, she was awarded the Best Academic Performer and Best Student Award during her degree programme. She also completed her Masters and Ph.D in the same field from SKUAST-Kashmir. She is a Gold Medalist in Master’s and recipient of National INSPIRE Fellowship during her Ph.D. Programme. Her areas of specialization include Limnology, Waste water treatment, Aquatic Ecology and Management. She is an active Editorial Member for reputed Journals like International Journal of Energy and Environmental Science, Journal of Zoo Biology and Nature Science e-Magazine. She is associated with Life Membership in Journal of Fisheries and Life Sciences and Journal of Environmental Biology. She has published more than 12 research publications in both national and international peer-reviewed research journals. An author of one book with International Publishing, she has also written a number of book chapters of significance. Dr. Malik has received one best poster presentation award from national organizations. Adnan Amin, is presently working as Assistant Professor Cum Junior Scientist in the Division of Aquatic Environmental Management at Faculty of Fisheries, Rangil, Ganderbal, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology—Kashmir. He is an undergraduate from College of Fishery Science Muthukur, Nellore SVVU, Tirupati Andhra Pradesh. He did his Masters from College of Fisheries, Mangalore in the Department of Aquatic Environment Management. He completed Doctoral degree from College of Fisheries Ratnagiri in the Department of Aquatic Environment Management. His area of research interest is Emerging Contaminants, Aquatic Toxicology, Limnology. His major research contribution is heavy metal and pesticide toxicity in aquatic organisms, Impact of Climate change in aquatic biodiversity. He is a recipient of university fellowship i.e. merit fellowship for perusing Masters. He is associated with Life Membership in Society of Fisheries and Life Science, College of Fisheries, Mangalore. He has published more than 25 research publications in both national and international peer-reviewed research journals. In addition, he has published five book chapter, Six review papers and Eighteen Magazine articles. Dr. Adnan Amin has received one best research paper awards from national organizations.
