Any fishery enhancement activity in a reservoir should be based on the morpho-edaphic factors of the reservoir. Keeping this requirement in view, the broad coverage on deployment of cage and pen culture methodologies to enhance fish production and use of advanced aquaculture practices were covered. Limnological profile of the major reservoirs and strategies to improve the fish production in these reservoirs were discussed in vivid .
