Author Information

Ed Walsh is Science Adviser in Cornwall and the Series Editor for Collins KS3 Science. He has contributed to Collins KS4 Science books supporting courses from AQA, EdExcel and OCR, and has written materials for the Secondary National Strategy. Ed was a teacher for 20 years, 12 as subject leader, and has taught in Manchester, South Wales and Cornwall. He is a regular provider of CPD events at ASE Conferences. Dr Jeremy Pollard is an experienced former Physics teacher and current Principal Examiner. He taught for 30 years, 20 of those as Head of Science. He has taught across the full range of Biology, Physics and Chemistry from KS3 to A-level, and is a specialist in Applied Science. He is the author of numerous textbooks, workbooks, revision guides and teacher guides, and he currently delivers revision masterclasses preparing students for science examinations.
