EARTH COLONIES AREN'T EASY... April Barber and Shiho Toshida are responsible for Yama Station, a complex that services a future Earth colony located on a terraformed planet. The station operates the spaceport and monitors the vast unknown for scientific discoveries and potential threats. The two women take enormous pride in these responsibilities and enjoy their jobs, but nothing is ideal. Trouble arrives in the form of a mysterious object in space that defies accepted physical laws. Yama Station must work with the colony's scientists, government, and military to assess the nature of the unannounced visitor.
