Overview

An engineering discipline, which is concerned with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism, is called electrical engineering. Various fields that fall under the domain of electrical engineering include computer engineering, electronics, control systems, signal processing, digital computers, etc. An important sub-field of electrical engineering is power engineering. It is concerned with the generation, distribution and transmission of electricity, along with the design of a range of related devices.
