OverviewSmoking is a global scourge, and it is essential that doctors in training play an active role in prevention efforts. It is in this context that we conducted this study, aimed at examining the practice of minimal counseling by doctors in training. A total of 301 medical residents were included in our d'étude. The smoking rate was 51.5%. Among the participants, 271 doctors indicated that they were familiar with minimal advice, and more than half felt that it was effective.
