Frank Griffel, Ph.D. (1999) in Philosophy, Freie Universitat Berlin, is a Research Fellow at the Orient Institute of the Deutsche Morgenlandische Gesellschaft in Beirut. He has published a German translation al-Gazali uber Rechtglaubigkeit und religioese Toleranz (Zurich, 1998).
