Aporialogy: Reason's Religion

Overview

Dogma: truth wants protected. Reason: truth wants challenged. Most religions side with dogma (close-minded certainty) and teach that their views, their truth, should not be challenged. Siding with reason, Aporialogy teaches that the truth about truth is that truth wants to be challenged. Only false ideas fear being tested. Most religions teach that faith and doubt are enemies. Aporialogy reveals that, in the search for truth, faith and doubt are allies. Dogma is the enemy of both. Religions usually teach that certainty in their views will give eternal life. Aporialogy reveals that only a mind free of certainty or dogma can be set free at death. Aporialogy organizes the two opposing methods of searching for truth into the Doctrines of Dogma and the Rules of Reason. These two lists of principles allow a person to more easily avoid using the destructive method of dogma and more easily use the credible method of reason. At first, most of the world will probably reject Aporialogy because it is the opposite of what most believe. That is fine. As truth, Aporialogy wants to be challenged. It also would not be the first time that the message of Aporialogy was rejected by the world. The most famous failed attempts are Moses, the Buddha, Jesus, the Apostle Paul, Muhammad and Martin Luther. Hopefully this attempt will be more successful. Hopefully, someday, the world will wonder how it ever lived without the truth of reason's religion.
