Overview

Inspired by the Scripture passage in which Jesus appears to the Eleven and opened their minds to understand the Scriptures (Lk 24:45), the Apostolic Letter Aperuit illis of Pope Francis institutes the Sunday of the Word of God on the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time.
