Herbert A. Shauger, Jr. is a retired electrical design engineer, holding both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in this discipline. His love of toy trains began at the age of 4 when he was given his first Lionel Steam Freight Set, which he still runs today. For the last 25 years, Herbert and his wife Roberta have sold antique electric trains. This hobby ultimately propelled Herbert into a mission to develop a smart controller to automate these wonderful old devices. Even though Herbert is retired from his full-time engineering position, he is still offering design services as a consultant and would welcome any requests you might have for assistance with your dream project.
