In the wake of tragic events in Charlottesville, Virginia, and Donald Trump's initial refusal to denounce the white nationalists behind it all, the antifa opposition movement is suddenly appearing everywhere. But what is it, precisely? And where did it come from? As long as there has been fascism, there has been anti-fascism-also known as antifa. Author Information

Mark Bray is a historian of human rights, terrorism, and political radicalism in modern Europe who was one of the organizers of Occupy Wall Street. His work has appeared in Foreign Policy, Critical Quarterly, Roar, and numerous edited volumes. Keith Szarabajka has appeared in many films, including The Dark Knight, Missing, and A Perfect World, and on such television shows as The Equalizer, Angel, Cold Case, Golden Years, and Profit. Szarabajka has also appeared in several episodes of Selected Shorts for National Public Radio. He won the 2001 Audie Award for Unabridged Fiction for his reading of Tom Robbins' Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates and has won several Earphones Awards.
