Author Harry Musselwhite has been a regular contributor to the op-ed pages of The Rome News-Tribune for decades. His columns have been featured in The Atlanta Journal Constitution and The Thomson Times, and he is a contributor to True West magazine and The Roundup. A member of Western Writers of America, his children's illustrated books have become favorites with the younger set. Punkin' Goes Skunkin' and Roshi and the Coyote Choir (with illustrator Rick Geary) and his ""Martin the Guitar"" trilogy (with illustrator Brian Barr) have found their way into children's libraries nationally and internationally.Another Month of Sundays - Dispatches from the American West is the sequel to A Month of Sundays - the New Mexico columns. The first volume was awarded the finalist award (essay) in 2023's Georgia Author of the Year Award. The sequel features columns from Harry Musselwhite's continuing work with The Rome News Tribune and also his personal photography.Musselwhite is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. He has sung with opera companies and symphony orchestras throughout the United States and Europe. He has taught on the faculties of Berry College, Sam Houston State University, and University of New Mexico. He lives in New Mexico about a mile from his beloved Rio Grande.
