Another Monster at the End of this Book was written 25 years after The Monster at the End of this Book, by the original collaborators, as a way to expand upon a modern classic by including Elmo, (who didn't yet exist when the first title was published). The late Jon Stone was an original writer/director of Sesame Street. He wrote a number of Sesame Street books as well. He will be forever remembered as the author of The Monster at the End of this Book, the best-selling Sesame Street Little Golden Book which has never gone out of print, and which has sold more than two million copies, delighting several generations of children and parents.
