OverviewThis review extends the comprehensive surveys of nitrogen NMR spectroscopy which have appeared in previous volumes of the series. The most recent report dealt with the literature between 1980 and the end of 1983. The present review addresses the progress made since that time and highlights the applications of nitrogen NMR which have advanced on many fronts. This book is intended for use by NMR spectroscopists. Particular attention is paid to nitrogeneous heterocycles and heteroaromatic compounds, including mesoionic structures and those commonly found in systems of biological interest.
