When Annie Emilia, known as Annie Em spies a shiny pair of red shoes worn by one of her classmates in first grade, she wanted her very own pair of those red shiny shoes. The ones with a scalloped strap, a jeweled buckle, of red patent leather for wearing in all kinds of weather. She embarked on a journey through catalogs, magazines, window displays and department stores looking for that special pair of shoes. Her shoe hunting adventure began Annie Em's collection of countless pairs of shoes, of all shapes, colors and sizes. Yet, did she ever find those perfect pair of shiny red shoes?
