OverviewAnimals In the Clouds: The Portal is a companion book to Britt Warner's experimental album by the same name, released January 21 2025. The music was recorded live for one of Song A Day For A Month's sessions featuring improvised vocal layers. Simultaneously, Warner was painting a bedroom mural, taking photographs, and writing surrealistic diary entries before bed. The book includes bits and pieces of all of the above, a collage of sorts. The book and the album can be experienced together or separately.
