Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationPenelope Evans is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with an undergrad degree in English literature currently living in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Penelope's interests are hiking, walking her dog: Pumblechook, traveling, and word play. Gertrude Stein, Shel Silverstein, and Dr Seuss are some of her favorite authors who have influenced her writing. She is an avid lover of nature who grew up going to bird counts and mushroom hunting with her aunt, once a member of the Audubon Society in Virginia. Penelope can still be found taking pictures of various mushrooms and watching the birds on her hikes. Kinga Martin is a watercolor artist and children's book illustrator. Martin was born in Poland, and spent many years in Italy before immigrating to the United States. Martin's exposure to art was something that she couldn't escape. Coming from a talented family, Martin was accustomed to creativity. Martin opened her studio in 2016, starting with her Etsy store called KINGAROOART, offering custom illustrations at first. Then she turned her subjects to the colorful world of nature, where there's no limitation for imaginative minds. Her artwork shows high attention to detail, vibrant, saturated colors and whimsical pen works. Martin had pleasure to illustrate children's books such as ""Yama Mimi"" by Heather Salazar, ""First Child"" by Jennifer Nicolazzo, ""Paisley the Polar Bear"" by Heather Hodnicki, ""Cupola Kitty"" by Terri Gingold and a novel by Andrew Pignatare titled ""Becoming JoJo MacBean"". Her latest adventure is creating a book of poetry about animals going amuck in the wild with Penelope Tanquary Evans.Martin lives in Easthampton, MA with her husband Geoffrey.
