Toward the end of the 18th century, Blavatsky shared in her writings her extensive knowledge of symbolism, metaphysics, and philosophies and religions of the world as taught to her by Tibetan teachers. The works of Alice Bailey were also used as a resource. Several volumes by Bailey delve extensively into the psychological make-up of a human being through their incarnations as an evolving spiritual entity.
