Author Information

Broadcaster and former SSA claims representative Angela Allen worked in radio for 20 years before joining public service. She worked in Phoenix, Tucson, Nashville, New Orleans, Tulsa and Los Angeles. She grew up in Evansville, Indiana, where she got her start in radio. Angela left radio in the late 1990s to go to school and wound up with two masters degrees from the University of Southern Indiana. She began her career as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration in February 2005 and left the agency in 2013. Angela's books are focused on empowering and encouraging the person filing for benefits (the claimant ). She sheds light on the baffling obstacle source that greets so many individuals who have questions about their benefits.
