OverviewAndromeda is a love story, but a bit different from other love stories imaginable. A strange refrigerator-like metallic box materializes on Jules' lawn. The door opens and out steps an amber-coloured creature that looks a tiny bit like an octopus. It has eight long legs or arms that slither, slide and stand. It has gorgeous, fluttering eyelids with lashes over large, round purplish eyes. Jules is astounded and amazed when it speaks, ""Hey Jules, I meant to land in that USA institution called the White House and have some serious conversations with the current President whilst holding him up by his neck with only four arms, but I must have got the coordinates wrong, terribly wrong,"" it says in perfect English. It turns out to be a she and is rather entrancing. And so, a new captivating adventure begins, with many curves, bumps and twists. Embedded in the dialogue, the story does stretch the limits of satire, so it may not suit everyone. It is a political, scientific, and religious myth, as well as a satire of relationships, although the relationship aspects are genuinely heartfelt.
