Overview

This book of 34 poems is the culmination of a little over a decade of the author's grief, love interests, traumas, and other big emotions he had no where else to put them other than into a poem. In this work you will laugh, cry, and hopefully find some kinship with him in knowing you aren't alone in your struggles. Personal note from the author: I hope when you read this you will find the same catharsis I felt in writing these poems. Being as it took me over a decade to write these I want to make it clear: all of these poems were written during times of very high emotion. I have moved past and worked through a lot of these things, so they are now simply poems to remind me of where I was and where I would like to be going forward in life. Others I have yet to fully process and they are still my way of reminding myself of the standard I hold myself to in my life and what I refuse to accept moving forward in my life. I wish each and every one of you who do read this a wonderful experience and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This work is meant for young adult to adult aged readers and does contain some material that may be upsetting to some readers. Please be aware it's not under the author's advisement that anyone under 18 read this publication without a parent having read through it first to ensure it is appropriate media for them at their age and understanding level. Some common upsetting themes include: DV, SA, grief, loss of a loved one, heartbreak, and religious trauma.
