Overview

In Scottish folklore there is one person within the community who serves as the keeper of oral traditions, lore and history. That person is known in English as the Shanachie, which is the translation for a Gaelic storyteller. I am no Shanachie but I do have a story to tell. It is not only the story of my life, how I lived it, what influenced it, the events and people that shaped it but also brings to life history and a way of life that I lived and feel should be told before I pop my clogs and it is lost forever. You never know what life has in store for you, circumstances play a big part, but mostly you determine which road you take so here is my story and the many paths I took.
