Overview
Las anclas líticas de piedra, así como combinadas con madera son uno de los restos arqueolo´gicos ma´s interesantes en cuanto a la arqueologi´a mari´tima se refiere. Por lo que a nuestros contextos de trabajo respecta, es posible encontrarlos en la mayori´a de fondeaderos, naufragios o, aunque no es muy frecuente, en algunos yacimientos arqueolo´gicos terrestres. Algunos de ellos incluso son utilizados en la actualidad, y pertenecen al patrimonio local tanto de la navegacio´n como de la pesca. Este trabajo recopila un conjunto de anclas li´ticas y combinadas encontradas a lo largo de la costa de Guipu´zcoa desde 1975 (Pai´s Vasco, Espan~a) hasta 2015 por la Sociedad de Investigaciones Submarinas INSUB. Hasta do´nde sabemos, constituye uno de los conjuntos de anclas de piedra ine´dito ma´s grandes jama´s encontrados en la costa atla´ntica, y el ma´s grande de la Peni´nsula Ibe´rica hasta este momento. Constituye pues el primer intento de registrarlas segu´n los esta´ndares acade´micos vigentes, tanto en documentacio´n me´trica como gra´fica. This work compiles a set of stone anchors found along Guipu´zcoa's coast (Basque Country, Spain) between 1975 - 2015 by the Sociedad de Investigaciones Submarinas INSUB.

Maria Intxaustegi Molina es historiadora naval, arqueóloga na´utica y subacua´tica, licenciada por la Universidad del Pai´s Vasco, patrona profesional de navegacio´n. Actualmente combina su trabajo como expedicio´n y tripulante del Bark Europa con investigacio´n y divulgacio´n del patrimonio cultural subacua´tico en el Pai´s Vasco. Maria Intxaustegi Molina is a naval historian, maritime and underwater archaeologist from the University of the Basque Country, and professional skipper. She combines her work as an expedition guide and crew member of the Bark Europa with research and dissemination of underwater cultural heritage in the Basque Country. Marta Del Mastro Ochoa es arqueóloga náutica y subacuática, doctoranda por la Universidad de Alicante y la Universita´ Ca'Foscari di Venezia. Participa en proyectos de investigacio´n como especialista en arqueología náutica en territorio nacional e internacional, como la excavación y documentación del navío de época moderna Boavista 5, en Portugal. Marta Del Mastro Ochoa is a maritime and underwater archaeologist and PhD researcher at the University of Alicante and Universita´ Ca'Foscari di Venezia. She participates in research projects as a naval shipbuilding and GIS specialist both in Spain and overseas, such as the excavation and documentation of the modern-era ship Boavista 5 in Portugal. Manu Izaguirre (1946-2019) fue un arqueo´logo marino, subacua´tico e investigador naval incansable del Pai´s Vasco. A e´l se le debe el trabajo recopilado durante de´cadas, en estas y costas ma´s lejanas, a trave´s de la Sociedad INSUB. Su legado fue y es importanti´simo para la proteccio´n del patrimonio cultural subacua´tico y naval del Pai´s Vasco. Manu Izaguirre (1946-2019) was a tireless marine and underwater archaeologist and naval researcher from the Basque Country. To him we owe decades of compiled works, in this near coast and overseas, through the INSUB Society. His legacy was and is highly significant for the protection and understanding of the Basque's Country maritime cultural heritage.
