He is also chief professor at the Teaching Department of the School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Professor Guo is the national executive director and deputy secretary-general of the literature department of the professional Acupuncture-Moxibustion Committee and the Acupotomology branch at the China Association of Acupuncture-Moxibustion. He is also the commissioner of Beijing Professional Committee for Modem Research of Acupuncture-Moxibustion. He has been a guess scholar in Spain, Korea, Poland and Singapore. Professor Guo has engaged in research on modern clinical significance of the classical text of acupuncture and moxibustion.
