Emma Goldman was expelled from the USA in December 1919; J Edgar Hoover saw her, and her partner Alexander Berkman, as two of the most dangerous subversives in the USA. Jack Wilkens was a building worker - he went to Russia as a convinced Bolshevik, but came back an anarchist.
