She received her Ph.D. from the University of Bath in 2009 and worked for several universities in the UK before she joined the North China Electric Power University as a full professor in 2013. Professor Du has published about 100 English journal papers, including about 50 IEEE Transaction papers. Her research interests focus on stability analysis and control of power systems integrated with renewable power generation (wind and PV). She is co-author of the books Small-Signal Stability Analysis of Power Systems Integrated with Variable Speed Wind Generators (Springer, 2018) and Analysis and Damping Control of Power System Low-Frequency Oscillations (Springer, 2016). She is a member of the IEEE and an associate editor of the journal IET Renewable Power Generation. Haifeng Wang, Ph.D., is a full professor with the School of Electrical Engineering at Sichuan University. He is a Fellow of the IET, Charted Engineer, SMIEEE. He worked in several universities in the UK from 1989 to 2013, including the Queen’s University of Belfast and Brunel University from 2007 to 2013. Professor Wang’s expertise is in power transmission and distribution. More recently, he has worked on the network integration of renewable power generation, including wind and photovoltaic and high-voltage DC power transmission and systems. He has published about 150 international journal papers and about 150 international conference papers. He is co-author of the books Small-Signal Stability Analysis of Power Systems Integrated with Variable Speed Wind Generators (Springer, 2018) and Analysis and Damping Control of Power System Low-frequency Oscillations (Springer, 2016).
