In 2016, Nicola R. White's first novel, Fury's Kiss, won the Kobo New Writers' Award with a prize of $10,000, which was covered in the national news in Canada. Since then she has continued to publish new books every year, she wrote the videogame/interactive novel Jazz Age for Heart's Choice, and she co-authored and directed the fantasy-romance short film ""Welcome - Ahlan wa Sahlan,"" which premiered in 2019 in the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival. Katia is an Italian comic artist who studied at the International School of Comics in Rome.
