Constanze Kathan-Selck did her PhD in Economics and Management at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands), in which she investigated the impact of new health care professionals. She has worked in the area of hospital management in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. Torsten J. Selck is professor of Social Sciences at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. He has been working at universities in the Netherlands, the UK, and Turkey. His research interests include decision making, organization theory, public policy, and political institutions.
