Author Information

Toni Maguire is a bestselling author dedicated to sharing the untold stories of childhood trauma and triumphs. After receiving rejection from her community after her father was sent to jail, Toni moved from Ireland to England and began a career in mortgage brokering. She went on to write her experience in her debut memoir, Don't Tell Mummy and its sequel, Daddy Comes Home. Both became top bestsellers in the UK, inspiring her to share other stories of childhood trauma. She currently lives in Norfolk. Sophie Roberts is a multi-award-winning and nominated British female narrator with a naturally warm and approachable RP accent. She has narrated over 150 audiobooks across genres, but her favorites are historical and contemporary fiction, crime, thrillers, histories, and kids' novels. She studied English literature at The University of York, before training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as an actor, and has worked in theater throughout the UK and West End. She now works full-time in audio as a voice actor and audiobook narrator and is the recipient of the BBC Carleton Hobbs Radio Award and an AudioFile Earphones Award. Sophie records from her home studio in Berkshire, UK. She also tutors at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in their audio department. Sophie is a member of UK Equity and the Audio Publishers Association (APA).
