She graduated from Lee University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, along with minors in Deaf Studies and English Poetry Writing. After graduation, Angel remained in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area for about five years, during which she released her debut poetry chapbook, Watercolor Leaves, and experienced many meaningful life changes. In April 2025, she relocated to Lexington, Kentucky, to be closer to family, where she now resides. Poetry continues to be a significant part of her life - a personal and therapeutic outlet she still treasures. Joseph ""Joe"" Smith was born in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1952, the fifth of ten children. He studied business management at the University of Louisville, where he graduated with high honors in 1978. Simultaneously, Joe worked in the plastics industry. He continued his work in this industry for 34 years in various managerial positions in different locations throughout the United States. Joe currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky, having returned there in 2024 after an absence of forty-one years. During those forty-one years, he lived in California, North Carolina, and spent thirty years in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He has two adult children who live in the greater Chattanooga area. Beverly Pumphrey was born in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1981, she attended Darlington boarding school in Rome, Georgia. She is a graduate of the University of North Alabama (1990) and received a Master's Degree in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University (1994). She then moved to Missouri, where she lived for a number of years, followed by relocation to Shelbyville, Kentucky, where she was married and gave birth to her twin boys and their younger sister. She now resides in Louisville, Kentucky. Beverly is occasionally bitten by the poetry bug and has produced the poems attributed to her and included in this book, along with others.
