Prof. Jr. Neville Songwe boasts a distinguished career spanning over 18 years, marked by extensive expertise in product design, UX design, and entrepreneurship, which he's cultivated across a global spectrum, from Africa and Europe to North America and Asia. His fluency in English, Italian, and French underscores his international reach. Currently, he holds the esteemed full-time position of Professor of Industrial Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia, USA, a role he has embraced since 2017. Concurrently, he is the founder and principal of Joneso Design, a product design consulting firm.Prof. Songwe's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in industrial design and visual communication from the prestigious Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche (ISIA) in Rome, Italy. His unwavering commitment to academic excellence led him to pursue a Master's degree in industrial design (MID) at the renowned Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. His brilliance and dedication earned him the ""President Scholar"" scholarship and the Industrial Design Faculty Award in 2005 at RISD. Carmen Andrisani, an alumna of Università degli Studi di Roma ""La Sapienza"" in Rome, Italy, stands out as a distinguished professional with a rich southern Italian design heritage.
