Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationR.H.Bissell (Rick) was born in Montreal Quebec and except for a three year stint living and working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accompanied by his spouse and son during the early 1980's has spent his entire career residing in Toronto and London Ontario, Canada employed by Nortel and Bell Canada. While stationed in Saudi Arabia, Rick along with his family travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, as well as North America. After retiring from Bell Canada in 1996 Rick worked as a Telecommunications Regulatory Witness appearing before State Regulatory bodies across the U.S.A on behalf of AT&T and MCI. Rick's cruise ship experience includes 31 cruises for total of 285 nights on numerous cruise lines including Celebrity Cruises(R), Royal Caribbean(R), Princess(R), Disney Cruise Lines(R), etc., with itineraries bringing him and his lovely wife to Ports of Call in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Panama Canal, Hawaii, Northern Europe and Russia, as well as Transatlantic cruising. He has cruised with Celebrity Cruises(R) 16 times. Over the past four years 10 of those cruises were on the latest Solstice(R) Class ships for a total of 107 nights making him an authority on this particular class of ship. His spouse retired as a travel agent at a large land based travel agency in 2003. Rick Bissell considers the new Celebrity Solstice Class Ships to be one of the best large mainstream ships cruising the high seas today and believes that by the end of his book so will all readers!
