He co-ordinated the South East Research Framework for the Historic Environment from 2007-8. He has since worked as Research Officer at the Canterbury Archaeological Trust. Recent publications include a chapter on the archaeology of Angevin Canterbury, co-editing and contributions to a book on funerary practice in the Roman world, and a chapter on cemeteries and funerary practice in The Oxford Handbook of Roman Britain.
