""I am confident that this book will interest not only historians;and international-relations experts, but also anyone;interested in foreign affairs and diplomacy."" Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov ""Natalya Kulishenko relied on a large number of memoirs while writing her book, which allowed her to present events more objectively, via eyewitness accounts. Among documentary sources are the memoirs of high-ranking diplomats, such as Ivan Maisky, Yuri Fokin, Viktor Popov, Fyodor Molochkov, Petr Stegny, Winston and Clementine Churchill, and wartime periodicals."" Yelena Studneva, International Affairs
