Overview

The artist Paul Klee said that drawing is taking a line for a walk. This book invites you to take colour for a walk through an English Country House and Garden. This is the rectangular Companion Notebook version of the original square Colouring Book, and it contains note pages for you to write in as well as images to colour. There are lots of plants, flowers and country images for you to colour as well as sections where you can use your own ideas to grow the garden in new ways. My hope is that you colour outside the lines that I've drawn and develop these images further with your own creativity, and that you find peace and quiet and time for reflection as you do so. This adult colouring notebook contains two types of images: Black and white prints based on my lino cut prints and also greyscale images (or grisaille) which give a tonal look to observational sketches. I hope you enjoy colouring them in!
