Author Information

David A. Garcia graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2016 with a Bachelors in Chemistry and a Bachelors in Biology. He spent a gap year in Valladolid, Spain teaching English while improving his Spanish. He first started learning Spanish in 2015 when he studied abroad in Cuenca, Ecuador. He is motivated to conserve Spanish in his family due to English being introduced only two generations ago. He is returning to Spain to teach English again and study at the University of Granada to become a high school science teacher. His goal is to return to New Mexico to teach science in Spanish.
