Jacqueline Vollat is a talented artist who uses a variety of bright colors, shapes, and textures. The animals are adorable. I highly recommend this book. This cute book with perfect rhyme helps children to brainstorm about what animals might do on their day off. The bright and friendly illustrations are inspiring. What a great way to start a fun conversation with your kids! My kiddos and I read a lot of books and this one was a favorite lately! They loved that it rhymed and all the animals in it, especially the rooster since we are chicken farmers!! Would highly recommend this book to bring a smile to your little's faces!! Never thought of what an animal would do on its day off. When I asked the question, I got so much response from my little ones. I live that the rhymes flow effortlessly, loads of opportunities to learn new words and learn about new animal. A truly sweet, and beautiful story book. What a lovely children's book. The storyline is so fun and creative. I love that the illustrations are beautiful designed and super silly. This was such a fun book! It was a unique concept paired with cute illustrations. It would keep any child entertained!
