Overview

Several years before the United States withdrew from Afghanistan, Carson a young Sergeant in the Army Rangers, goes out on his last mission in Afghanistan before separating from the military. Something happens on his last deployment that he hadn't dealt with before, leaving him traumatized and full of guilt. His original plan of getting out and becoming a paid MMA fighter starts to crumble as he tries to drown his troubles with alcohol, but all that changes when he comes across a beautiful Christian woman.

I grew up in a small town located in Pennsylvania. After high school I worked for my Dads tree company till I joined the Army. During my 6 years in the United States Army I became an Army Ranger. After separating from the service I struggled a lot with my mental health and one of the ways I coped was writing. This is the second project I've published.
