Though probably not a descendant of Ammann, Ammon enjoys driving his Old Order Amish friends to horse sales. A professor of children's literature at Penn State University, Mr. Ammon lives in Middletown, Pennsylvania. Pamela Patrick has painted professionally as an illustrator and fine artist since 1983. She has created covers and picture books for most major U.S. publishers. Historic painting, portrait work, and corporate commissions fill most of her time now. Ms. Patrick lives in Pennsylvania.
