Overview

This book is written to explain feelings. The story will not cure any illness. It is a love story without a hero or villain. It is more about love and trust between parents, children, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, friends and acquaintances. If any member of your family is stricken with Alzheimer, stroke, dementia, or any nonspecific mental deterioration, there are serious mistakes and misunderstandings that can tear a family apart. The denial, ignorance, and rejection can be more devastating than any illness. If you believe that ignorance is bliss, read something else and keep your distance.

Author Information

You know me. At the last social function you attended, I was the one telling a clean joke in the center of a small group of laughing people. When your car broke down, I stopped to help. When you had a problem, I was the one listening without judgment. You even know where I live because the neighborhood children play in my yard. You walked past me this morning. I was the one who smiled and said Good Morning. A few years ago, when you were troubled, we had a long chat and I made you smile. You and all your friends kept telling me to write a book. I did, and you liked it. The first book was a happy story full of light, love and wisdom, in an effort to improve the world, one reader at a time. I have been told that story was too naive, failing to acknowledge the problems and suffering in the world. I am not trying to disregard the plight of mankind. I am just trying to shine light on the darkness. I am of little consequence in the world but I am compelled to give what I can from the knowledge of my experience to anyone in need. I will not preach at you. I will just tell my story as if we were sitting on your couch and talking. I will not be using an extensive vocabulary to impress you. I have heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, but the pictures I want to show are more simple.
