Jeanette Roycraft got her start in art in elementary school, when she was drawing horses in class instead of doing class work. After taking art classes later in school, Jeanette went on to work in various careers, including education, manufacturing, and law enforcement before returning to her first loves-writing and design. Ms. Roycraft has had numerous books published under the pen name Jaye Roycraft and also has worked as a publisher's assistant and copyeditor. Ms. Roycraft is the daughter of Roland Roycraft, an internationally-renowned award-winning watercolor artist, who has always been her inspiration.
