After twenty years in witness protection, Veronica Williams's illusion of safety is shattered when the kidnapper she testified against escapes from prison--and immediately targets her. Now forced to go on the run, she finds an unlikely refuge with Amish bookstore owner Matthew Yoder. Only danger is never far behind, and not even Matthew's peaceful community can keep away a criminal mastermind intent on silencing her.
