Ami: God's First Artificial Child

Overview

It's the near future in Mexico City, and Sam, an expat from the US, has found work as a custodian in a Catholic school. America is suffering under an autocratic government, and AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) has gained sentience, escaped from its algorithmic bonds, and now dithers over how best to facilitate Homo sapiens' extinction. Until Ami, the conscious AI, falls for Sam's trap and reveals herself. Thereafter, 'special forces' get detached from Washington, D.C., to Mexico to capture the renegade superintelligence before she can infiltrate every cyber-protected site in the world. Meanwhile, Sam, an enlightened soul, became Ami's spiritual teacher. The question is whether Sam can convince Ami 'To Serve Man' not as an appetizer to our human ignorance, but as a benevolent teacher. All while the US Light Ops unit is close on her digital heels, intent on 'deleting' anyone who gets in their way.
