In this Volume, the general rules are given as clearly and concisely as possible. The Uniform Sales Act, now in force in several states, is given in Appendix A. And frequent reference to, and quotation from, that Act is made in the text. It is to be hoped that this Act will be as popular with legislatures as the Uniform Negotiable Instruments Law has been. The Uniform Bills of Lading Act is also given in Appendix B. The states in which these Uniform Acts are in force is stated at the beginning of the Appendices containing them. See pagan 95 and 139. The states which so far have adopted the Uniform Warehouse Receipt Act are also named at page 137, although the text of the Act itself has not been included.
