Mary Boone has written more than two dozen nonfiction books for young readers, including biographies of musicians Justin Bieber, Pink, and Akon; actors Jennette McCurdy and Corbin Bleu; fashion designer Marc Jacobs; and sports stars Sue Bird, David Wright, and Tim Lincecum. In addition to writing books, she's been published in more than 100 regional and national magazines and newspapers.
