America, Lost: The Foundation

Overview

Two forces collide at a pivotal point in history. Quinn, knowing the true nature of the newly elected President, feared for the future of the country that he proudly and honorably served. Seeing the path of this new administration, and in reading history books, he could see the parallels from those books with today's events. With his knowledge of how Germany fell to fascism and how other democracies fell throughout history, he felt the fall of the United States was happening right before his eyes. Through it all, can he manage to keep his family together and safe? Can he help members of marginalized groups from being attacked, like Hawthorne talked about while they were both in high school together? Meanwhile, the newly elected President, Hawthorne, went on the offensive to make his country the way it was when his kind ruled the land. He formulated plans to rid the country of undocumented immigrants and to imprison members of the LGBTQ+ community. Also, his desire to put females back in the home, 'Taking care of the man of the house', became part of his agenda. A blemish from the past came to the forefront. Having to deal with that brought out Hawthorne's anger over the grievances in high school with Quinn; Hawthorne needed to rid himself of that blemish and perhaps take back what was his. Hawthorne would stop at nothing to get rid of the people who got in his way. Using his staff and wealthy friends, he would restore America's morals while removing those who tarnished the nation. Will Hawthorne's thirst be satisfied? Can Quinn elude attacks coming at him? Take this journey with me to find out.
