While his primary interest was business, he pursued passions such as racing vintage sports cars, SCUBA diving throughout the Caribbean, and annoying the Bass population in local lakes. His book is based on extensive research, interviews, and personal experiences regarding the history and competition of ambulance services in Central Connecticut.
